This morning I jumped out of bed at 8 am on a mission. Our spare room/future baby room has basically functioned as a storage room since we moved in. It's full of boxes and piles of junk that we still need to go through. Dave had gone through quite a bit of it a few weeks ago but I don't think we realized just how much stuff we had! Something got into me and I went to town on that room today. I got through most of the boxes and then dragged Cory to Ikea with me. I found some shelves for under the window, two lamps, a rug, picture frames, brackets, and a bunch of tools. We put most of it all together and the room is starting to look like a room! I even got to hang up the curtains that Cory and I sewed months ago. I'm stoked! It's looking so great. Finally, after all this, I feel like I can breathe a little more easily.
I took a picture of the room before I attacked it today:
Dave and I attempting to put the curtains up. It took us about three tries to finally get it!

They're up!

Those curtains turned out beautiful! Do I see a wild animal motif? It's very cool :)
I love how you have pics out on the little shelf! And the curtains are perfect.
